Happy Customers - 12/05/12

Sipho and the Sandile, always a great help

Psycho cat Fluffy, the fattest in the world.  A typical morning scene
BEN - This morning we sent a Lesotho trip successfully off and got them all packed and fed.  I was impressed that we could get everything all prepared by ourselves for a trip.  There were a couple rides happening in the morning, so Gabby was able to jump on and join a group.   While she was away,  I had a nice surprise.  A Slovenian couple who had been here a few days ago returned to tell us about the hike they took.  We sat down, had some tea, and chatted for a bit.  I think it says a lot about our customer service that they felt the need to come back and say hello for no other reason that they liked the place so much.  Khotso isn't exactly 'on the way' to anywhere or easy to get to, so to come back is quite a mission.  I also kept tending to Smeagul, who was showing signs of improvement; drinking some water and eating some mince that I gave her.  Once I even got a tail wag.  By the time Gabby returned, clouds had already started to roll in.  In the typical Drakensberg fashion, we had an afternoon storm.  Rain started and lasted for the remainder of the day.  We made viennas and decided it was a perfect movie day.  We watched two old classics, Dead Poet's Society and Full Metal Jacket, both great movies in their own rite.  Thankfully, we had no guests for the night, and headed up to Steve's house with the dogs for bed.
