Puddle - 12/15/12

Puddle, the man himself

BEN - After the morning mayhem, Gabby and Claire went into town to do the grocery shopping, use internet, and have some girl bonding time.  That left me at the backpackers to man the fort.  It was a quite afternoon, so I set out on a new project.  My idea was to create a pamphlet to give to guests when they arrived at Khotso.  The pamphlet would inform them of things to do on the farm and things to do in the area as well as their prices.  The inside of the pamphlet would be the map of the farm and all the hiking trails I had created.   I spent the morning crafting the pamphlet, and when they got back, showed it to the girls.  They loved it and so did Steve.  With his approval I am going to print 100 copies next time I am in town, and start using them!  Claire and Gabby also had some exciting news; a new foal had been born this morning!  As they were the first to spot him, they named him ‘Puddle’ due to the wet, muddy puddles that are all over the farm currently.  He looks very cute and I cannot wait to go meet him.  Not much else to report for the day.
