BEN - I woke up late, Gabby insisted I sleep in and that she didn’t
need any breakfast help. I arrived in
the kitchen only to find that Gabby, Steve, and Borat had finished all the
Lesotho trip work already. Awesome. Almost immediately after the trip went off,
the rain started and continued for the entire rest of the day. Claire, Gabby, and I decided this meant we
should just watch movies all day. We
started with Taken 2 (not as good as the first one) and followed that up with
Wonderlust (stupid funny). Since we had
few guests and the rain was still coming down, we decided to open a bottle of
red wine and drink. We had fun listening
to Beyond Unison, Claire in awe of our “hidden talents.” Eventually, Candice, Steve’s daughter, came
down and invited us to dinner. Her
boyfriend Michael is one of the chef’s at Drakensburg Gardens Hotel. We sat and chatted and marveled at the brand
new Sani Springs Labels that Paul had just delivered. At this point, everyone was a bit drunk and
the food was served. Michael had made an
awesome chicken lasagna that was to die for, along with a tasty avocado mix. Just my type of meal. Gabby went to sit down with her plate of food
and Smeagul snapped at her. This upset
Gabby quite a bit, especially after the good times we’ve been having with the
dog. After calming Gabby down, we
enjoyed our meals, and as always listening to Steve’s stories and antics.
